As a Flat Knit Designer - Adults, you will be responsible for designing innovative and commercially viable knitwear collections for the adult segment, with a strong focus on sustainability and trend alignment. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Design and develop innovative flat knit collections for adults that align with the brand’s story and commercial objectives.

•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Sourcing, and Merchandising to ensure designs are both aesthetically compelling and production-ready.

•    Conduct extensive market and trend research to identify emerging styles, yarns, techniques, and sustainable practices in flat knit design.

•    Work with Product Development and Sourcing teams to manage the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept through to final production, optimizing both costs and timelines.

•    Ensure all designs meet quality standards and contribute to sustainability goals, optimizing material use and minimizing waste.

•    Provide clear, constructive, and fact-based feedback to support team collaboration and break down silos.

•    Present design concepts, research, and sustainability strategies to internal teams and stakeholders.

•    Support the development of key styles that reflect current trends while balancing creativity, technical feasibility, and commercial viability.

•    Stay up-to-date with advances in 3D systems, PDM/PLM systems, and other relevant technologies to streamline the design process.

WHAT YOU BRING

•    A college degree in Fashion Design, Textiles, Apparel Graphics, or a related field.

•    Proven experience in flat knit design for adults, with a solid understanding of garment construction, techniques, and materials.

•    Strong knowledge of trend forecasting, innovation, and sustainable practices, with the ability to present and communicate these effectively.

•    Experience working with 3D design software and product development/product lifecycle management (PDM/PLM) systems.

•    A passion for sustainability and innovation in fashion, with a focus on reducing environmental impact throughout the design and production process.

•    A collaborative and proactive approach, with strong communication and teamwork skills to foster positive working relationships across departments.

•    Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and competitive environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

•    Fluent in English (written and spoken), particularly in manufacturing and technical terms; proficiency in an additional language is a plus.
