OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST (M/W/D) IN HERFORD

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Occupational Health Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and promoting the health and safety of employees within the organization. Your primary focus will be on preventive medical care, conducting thorough health assessments, and identifying occupational health risks early. You will collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure compliance with legal, professional, and safety regulations related to workplace health.

Key tasks include:

• Performing detailed medical examinations and health screenings for employees to detect work-related health issues at an early stage.
• Developing and implementing preventive health measures tailored to the specific needs of the workforce.
• Advising management and staff on occupational health matters and contributing to the creation of health and safety policies.
• Coordinating with interdisciplinary teams and external agencies such as statutory accident insurance institutions to fulfill occupational health obligations.
• Conducting risk assessments and participating in workplace inspections to identify potential health hazards.

YOUR PROFILE

• Board-certified specialist in occupational medicine or a specialist in a patient care field with additional qualification in occupational medicine.
• Proven experience in advising on and implementing occupational health measures.
• Authorization to conduct radiation protection examinations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
