Senior Business Development Manager, Business Line IOS (d/m/f)


Location: Jena

Your Duties


Business Development Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of business objectives among the company’s sales, marketing and business development professionals. Their duties include comparing current sales numbers to desired quotas, delegating sales and marketing tasks among team members and meeting with upper management to discuss their progress.

Identifying new business opportunities and potential markets with expected revenue generation in 3-5 year timeframe

Developing and managing relationships with external partners and ecosystems

Facilitating growth opportunities with strategic partners.

Support ad hoc business reporting on opportunities, markets, and/or current business trends

Represent/present at tradeshows and conferences

Create/publish articles/presentations for brand development

Present to internal executive management


Your Qualifications


2+ years in engineering or engineering equivalent role

2+ years experience in similar business development or marketing role

12-15 years experience in the semiconductor industry with a semiconductor manufacturer

2+ years experience with microcontroller and or firmware related products

Strong influencing skills to communicate both up and down in matrix organization

International travel experience in Europe, Asia, and Americas

Demonstrated ability to successfully present complex technical topics to audiences from engineering to C-level in both public and private forums

Demonstrated ability to publish material suitable for tradeshows/conference/publications

Experience in optical or RF semiconductor components, preferred but not required

Fluency in English and German required

Willingness to travel internationally, ~25% time expected
