Be one of our change-makers and join the success story: we are looking for a ### ServiceNow Platform Architect (d/f/m) ### Location: Munich, Germany ### The Opportunity We are seeking a Platform Architect (d/f/m) specializing in Architecture/ Development on the ServiceNow platform. You will work in a technical customer-facing position where you will consult with customers and prospects alike to discover and prescribe the benefits of cloud based rapid application development platform. You will Design the solution which fits in our complex Global implementation. In select cases you will identify the specific requirements needed to develop innovative application prototypes that will be featured in a lab environment. **Your Key Result Areas** • Define, implement and maintain the IT architecture target picture to accelerate future strategy and opportunities • Operationalize the IT architecture • Consult with customers and prospects to understand their application development needs and current pain points and evangelize the business value of rapid application development on the platform • Demonstrate to customers and prospects the experience of developing and extending applications on the ServiceNow platform as well as design the Solution to meet customer needs and develop application prototypes on the ServiceNow platform • Answer questions and provide guidance to Solution Consultants in the field regarding application customization and development • Scope and develop application development "Proof of Concepts" with prospective customers, where you act as the platform subject matter expert at executive briefings, workshops, Architecture Board meetings and marketing events • Work closely with Product Management as well as with the ServiceNow community as a thought leader on upcoming releases and provide feedback from customer interaction ### Your Qualification • Excellent German language proficiency, reading, and writing capability - language level C1-C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) • Understanding of an agile work environment and able to work inside Scrum-based (or similar) projects. • Experience with application development lifecycle frameworks and tools. • Fluency in third party integrations using web services(SOAP and REST), JDBC, and file-based parsers • Experience with working or developing with JavaScript - HTML, Jelly Script, jQuery, Ajax, backbone.js, Node.js, Prototype and AngularJS • College Degree (or equivalent experience) in the fields of Software Engineering, Computer Sciences, or related disciplines • Overall IT experience of min. 8 years, preferred with developing applications on the ServiceNow Platform as well as 2 years of working as ServiceNow Platform Architect with experience in functional comprehension of SQL, database, Linux OS, Security and Networking concepts • Experience in Administration of a ServiceNow instance including the management of users, groups, roles, CMS/ Service Portal Development, ACLs, Business rules, Workflows/Flow Designer, UI actions, UI policies, Scoped Application Development and Catalog items, Orchestration and Discovery (MID Server) • Ability to work fully independent and solve complex problems or situations based on multiple sources of information • Role model character with talent to drive new ideas and take new perspectives to challenge existing solutions ### At Cognizant, taking care of employees is a priority: • You can pursue innovative career tracks and opportunities here • You can enhance your professional development through education and dedicated training • We’ll give you the skills you need to keep pace with the changing workplace while our compensation, health insurance benefit and gym membership discount to help you stay healthy and plan for the future.
