What you`ll do Summary: The (Senior) Developer Intelligent Search (f/m/d) plays a critical role in shaping the next level of SAP's AI Search service offering for multiple scenarios within the company. You will join a newly created team of motivated individuals in a well-established broader group of search experts. The Role: - Take part in a global, agile delivery team to create the next generation AI Search for critical SAP internal and external scenarios. - Develop state-of-the art AI Search features using LLMs, semantic/classical/hybrid search scenarios, and other advanced algorithms to enhance information retrieval. - Design, implement, and enhance retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems. - Setup and configure search solutions based on LoB specific requirements. - Optimize search result relevance by refining and enhancing our search algorithms. What you bring We are looking for an innovative, self-driven team player to become an integral part of our development team: - University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar. - 5+ years of professional working experience in software development. - Hands-on experience in working with search applications such as OpenSearch / Elasticsearch, Coveo, or similar. - Enhanced knowledge about search applications and state-of-the-art search features. - Extensive experience in Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python and HTML5. - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker. - Passion, ability to work under pressure, high level of initiative, dedicated to taking responsibility and ensuring quality are essential. - Proficient in both German and English, with strong communication skills.
