We are looking for you as* ## **CNC Machining Engineer (m/f/d) / Zerspanungsmechaniker (m/f/d) Frästechnik** ### *to set up our new production facility at the HYTORC headquarters in New Jersey!* **What you can expect:** - Employment in Germany at HYTORC Technologies with an exciting **assignment abroad in our US headquarters for at least 12 months, preferably longer** - **Active participation in the development of a production facility** for the production of turned-milled parts with a focus on small series and prototype production - **Training in our branch in Sprockhövel** (approx. 6 months) - **Visa, relocation and accommodation will of course be organized and provided** **Key Responsibilities** - Participate in on-the-job training programs to master 5-axis CNC machining, robotics, and automation. - Independently set up, program, and operate CNC-controlled milling centers with an emphasis on 5-axis machining. - Collaborate with engineering, production, and R&D teams to optimize machining processes. - Configure tooling, fixtures, and workpieces for optimal accuracy and repeatability. - Monitor machining cycles, making real-time adjustments to ensure efficiency and quality. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to machinists and production personnel. - Troubleshoot CNC programming, machine operation issues, and robotic system malfunctions. - Read and interpret AutoCAD and SolidWorks drawings and models to ensure exact specifications. - Optimize machining sequences and build control plans for complex geometries, precision components, and prototype parts. - Conduct process improvement initiatives to enhance cycle times, minimize waste, and increase efficiency. - Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments. - Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and safety protocols. - Develop extensive expertise in the Heidenhain platform, including programming, troubleshooting, and machine setup. **Required Qualifications** - You have completed apprenticeship as a Zerspanungsmechaniker (m/f/d) Frästechnik - Several years of professional experience in working with CNC-controlled milling centers, preferably in the field of prototype and series parts on 5X machines - Sound programming knowledge of CNC controls, ideally HEIDENHAIN TNC 430 to TNC 640 - A collegial and respectful cooperation is just as natural for you as a high level of commitment and a strong sense of responsibility - Fluent German and English skills and a desire for an exciting time abroad and intercultural cooperation **Physical & Work Environment Requirements** - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive machining tasks. - Must be able to stand for extended periods and move between production areas. - Ability to work flexible schedules due to travel and training requirements. **About the company** HYTORC, founded in 1968, is a leading supplier of industrial bolting systems based in Mahwah, New Jersey, USA.
