What you'll do As the (Senior) Solution Advisor (f/m/d) – Focus on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), you will be the go-to person within the sales team for any solution or product questions related to idea to market processes. Leveraging your deep expertise in SAP PLM solutions, you will support the full sales cycle, from supporting demand generation, identifying opportunities to post-sale customer engagement. Your responsibilities will include helping customers improve product lifecycle management, enhance innovation processes, and create smarter, more efficient solutions that drive value for their organization. - Provide deep process and solution-specific expertise in Product Lifecycle Management to support new sales and adoption for key customers. - Deliver both standard and customized/personalized solution demonstrations that showcase the innovation and efficiency of SAP's PLM solutions like SAP Integrated Product Development (IPD), SAP Engineering Control Center (ECTR), SAP Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM), PLM System Integration (PLM SI) or SAP S/4HANA for product compliance . - Support the Account Team by delivering solution presentations and events centered on PLM, driving the identification of new opportunities and adoption of SAP solutions. - Evaluate account qualification criteria to determine further investment in pursuing opportunities - Establish yourself as a thought leader within the account team and fine-tune account strategy. - Collaborate with the team in creating overall themes and competitive differentiation. - Conduct vigorous dry runs on strategic deals and customer engagements. - Transition engagement to implementation partner/ Services teams effectively. - Engage with customers to reinforce the vision of SAP solutions and ensure eagerness for renewal. - Leverage digital assets throughout the customer engagement, including demos, presentations, and other content. What you bring - Experience in large software/IT organizations, ideally in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) - Minimum 3+ years of SAP PLM experience with solutions like IPD, ECTR, EPPM, PLM SI, or SAP S/4HANA for product compliance - Recognized as an expert in PLM solutions with a strong track record - Experiences with one of the market-leading PLM solutions (ideally with SAP) in discrete manufacturing and/or process industries - Hands-on experiences with engineering tools, such as for requirement management, CAD or recipe development, are a plus - Storytelling and value selling skills are a plus - Knowledge of Cloud and SaaS/PaaS models in the Business-to-Business Environment, especially for PLM processes - Skilled in crafting compelling customer narratives focused on product innovation - Ability to quickly understand customer business goals and ensure they are at the center of recommended solutions - Passion and energy in all customer interactions - Full working proficiency in German and Business English Meet your team - The Solution Advisory department for Supply Chain Management of SAP Germany supports all sales units of SAP Germany with strong expertise of SAP´s Supply Chain solution portfolio along Design to Operate. The team creates future demand for our solutions and creates professional demonstration, explanation, and value proposition of those solutions to our customers and prospects - We at SAP, call Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or the idea to market process the “Design pillar” within our overall “Design to Operate” process. The Design to Operate process describes our SAP Supply Chain Management portfolio best - With our competences and our know-how in SAP’s Supply Chain solutions, we explore problems and challenges of our customers and provide the best possible solution capabilities.
