Be one of our change-makers and join the success story: we are looking for a ### **Senior Software Architect (d/f/m)** **Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany (hybrid)** ### The Opportunity As a Senior Software Architect (d/f/m), you take overall responsibility for the architecture of the client environment. Within the framework of the global guidelines, you define the architecture of client environment and associated applications within the department. You ensure that the applications are adaptable and expandable in the long term. Your architecture forms the basis for the stability and availability of the systems. You also work closely with the architects of the individual products. ### Your Key Result Areas • Development of the technical vision and strategy for the assigned information systems • development of the integration architecture • Technical structuring of projects • Creation of solution designs for projects • Monitoring, documentation and elimination of "architecture violations" • Identification and prioritization of technical projects and initiatives • Technical and methodological advice to the product owners ### Your Qualification • IT background through a degree or training with specialist further training and certification in the architecture environment • At least 3 years of professional experience as a solution architect • Excellent German language proficiency, reading, and writing capability - language level C1-C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) • Desirable already lateral management experience • At least 3 years of in-depth knowledge as a senior software developer in an agile environment • Technological skills including Java EE, Spring Boot, web technologies • Solid knowledge of software development methods and best practices • Understanding of DevOps principles, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) with tools such as Jenkins or GitLab • Understanding of container technologies such as Docker and orchestration systems such as Kubernetes ### At Cognizant, taking care of employees is a priority: • You can pursue innovative career tracks and opportunities here • You can enhance your professional development through education and dedicated training • We’ll give you the skills you need to keep pace with the changing workplace while our compensation, health insurance benefit and gym membership discount to help you stay healthy and plan for the future.
