YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive advancements in chemical management and wastewater practices, promoting innovation to reduce hazardous chemicals and improve water quality
• Steer biodiversity initiatives to minimise ecosystem impacts and foster regenerative practices
• Steer the adoption of innovative finishing technologies, such as low-chemical, waterless, and energy-efficient processes, to drive cleaner production
• Support the Sustainability Operations team to embed environmental expertise into supplier operations in Asia, closing performance gaps and scaling best practices
• Develop and deliver targeted training programmes, use data to identify gaps, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvement
• Pilot and scale emerging technologies that address environmental challenges, reducing chemical use, water consumption, and pollution
• Provide technical guidance to internal teams working with suppliers to meet audit requirements and improve environmental performance
• Establish and track KPIs for chemical compliance, wastewater improvements, and biodiversity impacts, ensuring measurable progress
• Collaborate with the Sustainability Operations and Transparency teams to deliver accurate reporting for internal and external stakeholders
• Build relationships with technical partners, NGOs, and industry experts to support the achievement goals and stay ahead of trends

WHAT YOU BRING

• 7+ years of experience in environmental sustainability, with expertise in chemical management, wastewater treatment, biodiversity, and innovation adoption
• Proven track record of supporting the implementation of innovative solutions in water, chemical processes, and resource efficiency
• Strong knowledge of global frameworks such as the Higg Facility Environmental Module, Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals, Bluesign, and biodiversity standards
• Experience working with suppliers in Asia, delivering capacity-building and programme implementation
• Strong data analysis skills
• Ability to work autonomously and to proactively drive multi-collaborative projects and deadlines in a pragmatic way
• Deep personal interest in, and passion for, sustainability
