What you`ll do SAP BTP ABAP is the SAP Platform for ABAP Cloud development as well as the Platform for SAP’s Business Applications. Around 2,000 developers develop the platform and rely every day on the maturity and availability of their work environment. With new products and deployments for cloud the existing landscape constantly evolves. As a team we operate the system landscape, and we plan the changes required. We collect stakeholder demand and develop the concepts for user access, the systems required to develop and test. We deploy new software increments across the system landscape. We are looking for applicants with the interest and ability to cover the software life cycle from quality assurance to deployment and the ability to implement automation of these processes. Regardless of the detailed position you will be working in close collaboration with developers and production units in SAP. What you bring You should have a sound technical background with a university degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience. Having experience in methods and tools for the software life cycle; At least one modern programming language is a must as is fluency in German and English. Additionally, you should bring experience in two or more of the following topics: - Windows and Linux operating system internals. - Experience with git / GitHub and their ecosystem. - Strong communication skills. - Agile development methodologies and tools. Finally, you should have a result-driven working habit, be a passionate team-player and be able to focus on quality and customer success.
