System Engineer - Flight Management Systems (m/w/d)

For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH!

Your Tasks

• Requirements gathering and analysis for military and civil flight management systems and flight control
• Concept and architecture engineering activities for flight management systems
• Design and development of FMS and automation functions to support the integration of RPAS into the general airspace.
• Design and development of flight control functions
• Management of suppliers and subcontractors
• Specification and management of verification and validation activities, including laboratory, ground and flight tests
• Support standardisation and certification activities with international regulatory bodies and agencies
• Participation in research activities

Your Profile

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, engineering, aerospace or mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of design and simulation tools (e.g. Matlab/Simulink, SCADE) is required
• Knowledge in systems engineering and with flight management systems is required
• Experience in the field of UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle)/RPAS (remotely piloted aerial system) would be desirable
• Business fluent English skills
• German skill is a plus
