As a medium-sized company, Nexans Power Accessories Germany is an expert in the field of accessories technology. Wherever power cables are connected or energy is transmitted and distributed, Nexans Power Accessories Germany demonstrates its expertise in system relevant connections in the field of low-, medium- and high-voltage accessories.

To strengthen our team at the site in Hof, we are looking for a:

TECHNISCHER EXPERTE FORSCHUNG & ENTWICKLUNG / R&D TECHNICIAN (M/F/D)

UNBEFRISTETE ANSTELLUNG - PERMANENT CONTRACT

IHRE AUFGABEN:

• Vorbereitung und Durchführung von Typprüfungen und Versuchen auf dem Gebiet der Kabelanschlusstechnik
• Auswertung von versuchen, Erstellung von Prüfberichten
• Labormanagement (Ordnung, Sicherheit und Verantwortung für die Wartung von Geräten und Werkzeugen)
• Erstellen und Verwalten von Prüfprotokollen und technischen Unterlagen
• Versuchsaufbauten, Montage und Präqualifikation in externen Laboren
• Änderung von technischen Zeichnungen und allen relevanten technischen Unterlagen
• Eingabe von Daten der Produktdokumentation in das ERP-System (GLOVIA)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation and execution of type tests and trials in the field of cable connection technology
• Evaluation of tests, preparation of test reports
• Laboratory management (order, safety and responsibility for the maintenance of equipment and tools)
• Creating and managing test protocols and technical documentation
• Test set-ups, assembly and prequalification in external laboratories
• Modification of technical drawings and all relevant technical documentation
• Entering product documentation data into the ERP system (GLOVIA)

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

• abgeschlossene Ausbildung im elektrotechnischen Bereich mit Weiterbildung zum Techniker oder vergleichbarer Qualifikation
• CAD-Kenntnisse von Vorteil (PTC Creo)
• gute Deutsch und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• gute Kommunikations- und Präsentationsfähigkeiten
• Reisebereitschaft, z.B. zu externen Laboren und Kunden
• Globaler Teamplayer
• zielorientierte, selbstständige und strukturierte Arbeitsweise

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completed training in the electrical engineering field with further training as a technician or comparable qualification
• CAD knowledge is an advantage (PTC Creo)
• Good written and spoken German and English
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel, e.g. to external laboratories and customers
• Global team player
• Goal-oriented, independent and structured way of working
