NOS Demand & Allocation Planner (m/f/d)

The purpose of the Operations function is to secure and fulfill omni availability to meet the customer’s needs.

Working very closely with the Demand Planners & Allocators of each category, this role will focus on managing the replenishment settings for NOS (Never Out of Stock) styles to ensure the optimum target stocks and replenishment parameters to deliver the required availability to the customer. They will ensure the replenishment parameters in store/channel are set to optimize availability whilst maintaining commercial stock levels. They will play a crucial part in further developing the automatization of the replenishment process. In addition, they will use their analytical skills to analyze big data sets per market to make sure country & store specific needs are covered. During the season, they will evaluate the NOS performance and identify all risk and opportunities on store/country level and take the according actions to increase sales & performance.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze historical data and calculate replenishment parameters to optimize stock levels per single store & market to deliver the required availability considering influences on demand such as seasonal trends, promotions, country specifics, etc.
• Create and develop reports & tools to drive the automatic parameter calculation and replenishment process.
• Analyze and prepare big data sets in a simple way to easily identify where and when actions are needed.

As the position requires to a certain degree to work in the office, the home base should be located near Düsseldorf.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience in Demand Planning and Allocation.
• Passion for analysis to determine consumer demand from historical, market and trend data and apply to create accurate forecasts.
• Capability to approach tasks in a simple and pragmatic way to deliver the level of detail required.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and excel skills and previous knowledge of retail allocation and replenishment.
• Strong self-organization, prioritization, and work structuring skills
• Ability to synthesize big data sets and draw meaningful conclusions, explain complex topics in a simple and understandable way.
• Fluent in business English, oral and written.
