As an Oracle Cloud Specialist (d/f/m), you will be involved in DBA activities for 24/7 Production Support.

In your first few weeks in this Oracle Cloud Specialist (d/f/m) role, you can expect to:

·   Instructure and configure Oracle Database servers.

·   Regular monitoring of all DB environments RAC, data guard and single instance

·   Logical Backup of Databases using Datapump

·   Cloning the Oracle database for test and development environment setups

·   Monitoring the unwanted User Session and killing them if needed

·   Troubleshooting root cause analysis and resolution of any database errors and issues

To apply for this Oracle Cloud Specialist (d/f/m) role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

·   Excellent understanding of Oracle 12c/19c database architecture and internals together with at least 8 years of hands-on experience

·   The ability to be involved in DBA activities for 24/7 Production Support and have on-call (24*7) support to troubleshoot problems when necessary, on a rotational shift

·   Following the ITL processes like change management, problem management and Incident management processes.

·   Working on the Daily tickets/Request/Incidents by following CO processes and approvals

·   Monitoring database, which include basic health checks, growth of objects, performance of the database and giving recommendations.

·   Created users, roles and granted privileges according to the business requirements.

·   Monitoring the alert log files.

·   Patching the Database home and Grid home with the latest PSU patches

·   Database refresh using RMAN duplicate and in 11g/12c/19c backup based duplication method

·   Backup and restore using RMAN utility

·   Monitoring the Database health in Oracle 12c Grid control (OEM)

·   Configuration of Data guard

·   Checking the Archive log shipping between the Primary and the standby (DR) databases and troubleshooting it by rebuilding the Standby databases.

·   Checking the partitions of Oracle, Data files and Archive log according to our policy.

·   Checking the database free space.

·   Scheduling and configuring backup jobs using OEM and Cron

·   Conducting DR drills and performing switch over and switch back operations.
