Technical Sales Engineer - Renewable Energies - Energy-Water Solutions (m/f/d) in Düsseldorf


We offer an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and goal-oriented sales professional with an interest in the currently growing renewable energy market. You will support us directly in market development in the DACH region, especially in the areas of wind, solar, and battery storage. We focus on potential customers, promoting business with existing customers, and assisting customers in implementing their business plans. In the field of renewable energy, we are a global leader in development, production, and distribution.


As part of our expansion, we offer a permanent position for a Technical Sales Engineer in a home office setting.


Your Future Responsibilities


  • Maintenance of existing customers and strengthening of existing customer relationships.
  • Acquisition of customers in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on Germany.
  • Planning of business goals and their implementation in the region.
  • Execution of complex business cycles.
  • Preparation of offers and leading contract negotiations.
  • Active customer visits to explain product applications and analyze customer needs.
  • Gathering information about customer needs and participation in trade fairs.
  • Product presentation and explanation of product applications during development activities.

What's Important to Us


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering-related field.
  • 5 years of professional experience in the field of renewable energy (wind, solar, and battery storage) in the DACH region.
  • Willingness to travel within the DACH region.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Technical understanding in the field of renewable energy.
  • Good knowledge of the processes and management of power plants, including control systems.
  • Independent and results-oriented action with a structured work approach.
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external contacts.
  • Team spirit and a responsible, committed, and reliable work style.
