Your Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend serverless solutions for our mobile applications using AWS technologies, focusing on high availability, low latency, and scalability.
• Develop backend use-cases mainly using Python, ensuring code quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with our cross-functional teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and translate these into pragmatic and effective technical solutions.
• Deliver high-quality code, focusing on simplicity, performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Implement APIs (with a focus on REST now).
• Work on database design, querying, data migration, and optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, problems, and errors encountered across our platform.
• Conduct code reviews, enhancing code quality, and maximize application performance.
• Optimize existing systems for performance, cost, and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership and contribute to architectural decisions.

Your Profile

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• Minimum of 3 years of software development experience focused on AWS technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation, Event Bridge.
• Familiarity with AWS SAM and CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with Serverless Architecture and API development (strong understanding of REST, basic understanding of GraphQL).
• Experience with database technologies (strong understanding of SQL, basic understanding of NoSQL).
• Knowledge of software design principles and leading software development practices.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
