In our department Category Management Systems we are responsible for the technical requirements for quick product activation (time to market) and its continuous optimization.

Our goal is to build a reliable source for all product content from content through media assets.


YOUR ROLE:

  • As Java Engineer (m/f/d) in our Product Team Digital Assets, you design, develop and improve resilient and scalable software solutions which fuel our internal applications and customer facing APIs
  • You solve system design challenges within your team and across team boundaries in a product centric environment
  • You implement, deploy and operate your team’s cloud based and cloud native solutions from development to production environment and foresee, identify and solve production issues
  • You build tools that support efficient asset workflows and develop customizations for our DAM software
  • You follow agile working principles and focus on values such as objectives and key results (OKRs)
  • You drive quality and standards in our engineering community

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Successfully completed studies in Computer Science or (Business) Informatics or a comparable training e.g. as IT Specialist (m/f/d) with several years of professional work experience
  • At least 3 years of work experience as Java Engineer (m/f/d) or Software Developer (m/f/d) with a background in design patterns, data structures and APIs
  • Comfortable with REST based communication, Java Application Server, SpringBoot, Bash scripting and familiar with common monitoring/alerting/logging tools
  • Practical experience in using cloud provider platforms (e.g. GCP, Azure)
  • Knowledge in classical frontend technologies (HTML, CSS) and JavaScript
  • Open-minded personality, comfortable working in a collaborative agile environment and very good knowledge of English, German is a plus
