ACCOUNTANT/BUCHHALTER (M/F/D)

As Team Lead Accounting you will be a significant key function of our Finance team and responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial accounting and reporting. With our world-class team, currently 3 team members, you will play a central role in pushing the boundaries of drone technology.

You will work closely with stakeholders across all disciplines to ensure financial integrity, regulatory compliance and strategic decision making through accurate and timely financial information. With this smooth financial process, you will support Quantum Systems in its mission to become the benchmark for aerial data collection solutions with unmanned aerial systems (sUAV).

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Management of the accounting department: Professional and disciplinary management of the accounting team.
• Proper bookkeeping: Ensuring efficient and proper bookkeeping and hands-on recording and processing of business transactions.
• Financial reporting: Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB. As well as consolidating the financial statements of our subsidiaries. You will be the main point of contact for internal and external audits and coordinate audit activities, provision of required documentation and explanations as well as timely processing of audit findings.
• Tax matters: Responsibility for the timely preparation and submission of tax returns and statistical returns in cooperation with tax advisors and tax authorities.
• Process optimization and controls: Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement in accounting processes. Establishing and maintaining effective internal controls to protect company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Advice and communication: Advising and supporting the management in all matters relating to finance and accounting. You will be responsible for the set-up and onboarding of new subsidiaries, as well as supporting ongoing accounting in the post-merger period.
• Legal and regulatory compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and tracking changes in legislation and adapting internal guidelines.

What you bring to the team:

• You have a degree/completed training in accounting, finance or a related field.

• You already have at least 3 years of professional experience in accounting and financial management with proven leadership qualities and successes.

• You love to work in a structured way and are also interested in drones or aerospace in your private life.

• You are highly self-motivated and drive your area of responsibility forward independently.

• Your open, communicative, friendly and competent manner makes it easy for you to be seen as an internal expert by your colleagues.

• Communication in English is a matter of course for you.
