QUALITY ASSURANCE REPRESENTATIVE

PRODUCT DELIVERY, EAL (M/F/D)

LOCATION: MUNICH

SCOPE:

• Act as EPI Quality Assurance Representative with suppliers, Parent Companies (PCs) and Engine Assembly Line (EAL) / Final Assembly Line (FAL).
• Manage day-to-day issues in the EPI supply chain together with the EPI Product Delivery Team
• Ensure process compliance of the production sites and be the first level of escalation.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

• Act as EPI Quality Assurance Representative within the supply chain of the EPI Product Delivery Team and be the first level of escalation for the suppliers, Parent Companies (PCs) and EAL.
• Follow-up and support investigations related to quality related topics, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Quality Escapes Reports (QERs) and track the status of remidial and containment actions.
• Follow-up the root cause analysis and corrective actions committed by suppliers, EAL and FAL in order to ensure engine delivery.
• Run the concession process with all stakeholders (suppliers, EPI internal and with customers) and provide a meaningful and comprehensive KPIs
• Compile and review the Quality Metrics and KPIs of the EPI Quality processes and suppliers, Parent Companies (PCs), EAL and/ or FAL performances.
• Contribute to the identification of risks, and propose and coordinate mitigation actions.
• Support Quality, POA (Production Organization Approval) and/ or MOA (Maintenance Organization Approval) audits to ensure process adherence at all levels and address specific critical areas.
• Ensure compliance to the EPI QMS within the given work scope and work proactively on improvements for the EPI QMS.
• Report functional to the Supply Chain Manager and if requested to the Head of Product Delivery.

PROFILE:

• Quality Engineer with aerospace background and good knowledge in engine production
• 2-3 years (on-the job) experience, in supplier management, monitoring and surveillance
• Good experience in various quality methods for investigations (8D, 5-Why, etc.)
• Good knowledge in Aerospace regulations and standards EASA Part21/EN9100
• Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Very flexible regarding working and service times as we have to cope with unscheduled events and a tight delivery plan
• Flexible in terms of travelling and working on different EPI locations
• Team player able to work in a multi-cultural environment
• Good English level written and spoken is mandatory
