We are looking for Industrial / PLC Automation Engineers (m/f/d) to strengthen our team in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Job description:

Level 1 Automation - PLC/HMI Software-Engineering, Programming, Testing and Commissioning for Steel Industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop PLC and HMI software in Siemens
• Basic engineering- Preparation of IO List and I/O Engineering
• Interface detailing for MCC’s, Drive’s, Measuring system, Level 2 system and package units
• Instrumentation, Field device tuning & Parameterization (PID tuning)
• Simulation (within PLC or using third party Software)
• Commissioning of Level 1 automation system.

Requirements:

• Good programming knowledge in Siemens PLC and HMI software packages (PCS7, STEP7, SFC, CFC, SCL, STL, FBD, LAD, WinCC & TIA Portal)
• Minimum of two years Steel plant commissioning experience in one of the following areas is a must:

 Strip processing lines

 Long products

 Rolling mills

 Caster

 Steel making

• Knowledge in Siemens/ABB Drives will be an added advantage
• Good Analysing skills of Hydraulic schematic and P&I diagrams
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Good communication and analytical skills
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in an international work environment
• Flexible in travelling to international sites for commissioning.
