TASKS

Purpose:

• To be responsible for the pricing and overall promotion of these Food Ingredients categorie to maximize consumer appeal.
• Relationships with vendors and product range management will also be part of the duties.
• The goal is to increase sales and profitability of business to drive sustainable growth.

Knowledge:

Proven experience as category manager in Colours Food Ingredients

• Solid knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles
• Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Full comprehension of marketing and sales principles.

Responsibilities :

• To analyse data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends in these ingredients
• To provide clients with customer focussed insights regarding the product and category
• To develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products
• To foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services
• To support appropriate orders to ensure product availability that meets consumer demands
• To determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility
• To liaise with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category
• To collaborate with the sales team to expand product categories
• To make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory
• To assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category.
• To oversee a team of analysts and other support staff.

REQUIREMENTS

Education & Relevant Experience

• B.Sc., MBA, 10 year experience in similar industry
• english fluent and if possible italian
