Subledger Accountant (m/f/x) – Parental Leave Cover

At ubitricity, we are helping shape the future of electric mobility by providing innovative and accessible charging infrastructure. To support our Finance team, we are looking for a motivated Accounts Payable Accountant / Subledger Accountant to join us on a fixed-term basis as parental leave cover.

In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate processing of supplier invoices and travel expenses while supporting the smooth operation of our accounting processes.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review, code, and post supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Manage and process invoices through the digital workflow system
• Maintain and reconcile vendor accounts
• Review and process employee travel expense claims
• Support payment runs and monitor open items
• Clarify invoice discrepancies together with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with internal policies and procedures

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed commercial training, accounting qualification, or a comparable background
• Initial professional experience in Accounts Payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting
• Practical experience in processing and posting invoices
• Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Structured, accurate, and detail-oriented way of working
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Good communication skills in German and English
