Fabrication Expert (m/f/d) - 50% Position

Bio-based Extrusion & Large-Scale 3D Printing | Aachen, Germany | Sustainable Tech Start-up

We are building the next generation of sustainable manufacturing technologies for the construction and design industry — large-format 3D printing with bio-based materials, scalable and suitable for industrial use.

We are looking for a hands-on fabrication expert to join our team and keep our robotic extrusion system running. This is a practical, technically focused role at the heart of our production setup.

TASKS

– Translate digital models into print-ready files and fabrication workflows

– Operate and maintain our robotic printing and extrusion setup'

– Support Willowpaste material testing and extrusion runs

– Document process parameters and print results systematically

REQUIREMENTS

– Master's degree in Architecture, Design, or a related discipline

– Hands-on experience with 3D printing or digital fabrication

– Knowledge of robotic fabrication is a plus

– Rhino/Grasshopper knowledge is a plus

– Design sensibility and interest in material-driven production processes

– Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment
