Über den Job:
Dual.Concept S.r.l., a service company of AHK Italien (accredited by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies – No. 145/2022), on behalf of a client company is seeking a Technical Sales / Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Automotive sector in Germany.
Our client is a leading international manufacturer of thermoplastic compounds, developing innovative and sustainable material solutions for a wide range of industries, including automotive, household appliances, electrical, building, constructions, power tools and consumer goods. With a strong focus on research, innovation, quality, sustainability and environmental responsibility, it operates globally through multiple production sites and commercial branches, supporting customers with advanced technical expertise and customized solutions.
You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the German Market, building a strong project pipeline, and supporting sustainable and profitable growth through innovative material solutions.
TASKS
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the German Automotive market
- Build and manage relationships with OEMs, Tier 1s, and key stakeholders
- Lead application development projects in cooperation with R&D and Product Management
- Drive projects from early development to start of production (SOP)
- Manage sales pipeline, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Analyze market trends and customer needs
- Identify new applications and support product development strategy
- Negotiate pricing, agreements, and commercial terms
- Position the company as a strategic partner in material solutions
REQUIREMENTS
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Science)
- 8+ years of experience in Automotive (Sales, BD, or Application Development)
- Strong knowledge of engineering plastics and automotive applications
- Experience working with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
- Results-driven with a strategic mindset
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel frequently
- Based in Northern Germany (Wolfsburg – Dresden - Düsseldorf - Berlin)
- Fluent in English and German
