Axel Hotels is a pioneering and inclusive hotel chain aimed at the LGBTIQ+ community, internationally recognized for its innovative approach to the sector. We believe in diversity and progress, and we are in an exciting phase of expansion.


The opening of the Axel Hotel Barcelona in 2003 marked the beginning of a project that is currently undergoing rapid expansion, with 10 hotels currently in the portfolio and three planned for the coming months: Bilbao recently opened, Valencia in 2025, and Porto in 2026.


What are we looking for?


At Axel Hotels, we are recruiting a Receptionist to join our hotel in Berlin.

Mission:


To promote maximum guest satisfaction and well-being while staying at the hotel by adhering to department and hotel standards and procedures, while simultaneously generating business by actively promoting both upselling and cross-selling within the hotel and outside of the hotel at other Axel hotels.


Duties:


·Check-in/out


·Responsible for shift management


·Customer service


·Reservations management


·Availability to work rotating shifts.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a receptionist in a similar hotel category.

  • Advanced English and German are essential.

  • Other languages are highly valued.

  • Experience with the Tesipro / Ulyses Cloud system is a plus.
