Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (f/m/d) - Leipzig (preferred) or Remote

As part of our infrastructure team, you’ll help shape the cloud foundation that powers scalable, reliable, and secure data and AI-driven applications.

TASKS

• Drive cloud knowledge sharing and promote infrastructure best practices across the company
• Help design, build, and operate our cloud-native applications and platforms
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using GitLab
• Provision and manage infrastructure on AWS and Azure
• Install, configure, and optimize scalable and reusable infrastructure components
• Translate technical requirements into reliable operational solutions
• Contribute to testing, deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence
• Continuously improve our DevOps tooling, processes, and delivery practices
• Integrate security best practices into all aspects of infrastructure and operations
• Stay current with emerging DevOps technologies, tools, and industry trends
• What You’ll Work With: Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, AWS & Azure, Docker / Docker Compose, Linux / UNIX systems

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering role
• Hands-on experience operating and maintaining production environments using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Practical experience with containers and container orchestration technologies, especially Kubernetes and Docker Compose
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic mindset
• Solid experience working in UNIX/Linux environments
• Passion for automation, reliability, and continuous improvement
