Booking for MW:M Live - Berlin's International Showcase Festival

Most Wanted: Music (MW:M) is Berlin’s leading conference for the music industry. With MW:M Live, we present a curated showcase festival connecting national and international artists with industry professionals, bookers, and audiences.

To support our team, we are looking for a committed Booker to support the preparation and execution of MW:M Live.

AUFGABEN

You will work closely with the project and production management as well as the booking and marketing teams, supporting in particular:

• Planning and preparing the operational implementation of the showcase festival in coordination with project and production management
• Supporting the selection of performing artists (booking)
• Providing and coordinating general and technical event information
• Resource planning during pre-production
• Compiling all programme information and preparing online publication
• Collecting and forwarding marketing materials
• Coordinating content and operations with the marketing team
• Supporting the creation of invitation mailings for VIP guests (especially international industry decision-makers)
• Creating running orders for the showcases in coordination with project management
• Supporting the implementation and supervision of event production on site together with production management and technical teams
• Ensuring smooth event operations
• On-site artist liaison and support
• Post-event evaluation and debriefing with project management

QUALIFIKATION

• Experience in booking, festival organisation or event production
• Structured, reliable and self-driven working style
• Strong organisational skills and ability to keep overview in fast-paced environments
• Strong communication skills in dealing with artists, agencies and partners
• Good understanding of the music industry and interest in live formats
• Confident use of digital tools (e.g. spreadsheets, project management tools, CMS)
• Fluent in German and English

The contract to be awarded concerns a funded measure for which only limited financial resources are available. A maximum contract value of €8,750.00 net per annual project period is intended for this assignment. The contracting authority therefore reserves the right to cancel the tender if the bidder submitting the most economically advantageous offer proposes a total price exceeding €8,750.00 net in the comparative evaluation of bids.
