Patent Counsel (M/W/D)

TASKS

We are looking for a sharp, commercially-minded Patent Counsel to serve as a strategic partner for a portfolio of high-growth tech startups. This isn't just about "checking boxes"—you will be at the intersection of cutting-edge hardware and agile software, navigating the complex landscapes that define the future of technology.

• Develop IP strategies for leading tech startups
• Work with startup founders, product owners and engineers to protect their key innovations
• Manage the IP portfolio of startups and coordinate external attorneys

REQUIREMENTS

• Qualification: Fully qualified patent attorney (US, EPO and/or Germany).
• Expertise: Significant experience in semiconductors, physics and electronics.
• Language Skills: Professional fluency in German and English
• Startup DNA: You thrive in fast-paced environments. You are pragmatic, proactive, and capable of explaining complex legal concepts to non-lawyers.
• Attention to Detail: An uncompromising eye for detail without losing sight of the "big picture" business objectives.
• You are a good communicator. You can put your ideas into words.
