CTO & Late Co-Founder

We are a stealth-stage startup operating in the mobility sector.

We have our first customers, early traction, and are currently raising our pre-seed round.

The company is led by a repeat founder. We are looking for a technical co-founder to own everything engineering — from AI and data architecture to the product itself.

TASKS

• Design and own the end-to-end data architecture: ingestion, storage, transformation, and serving layers
• Build AI-powered systems including matching algorithms, dynamic pricing, demand forecasting, and route optimisation
• Lead full-stack development of the platform, maintaining solid engineering standards across the codebase
• Drive the ML/AI roadmap from early experimentation through to production at scale
• Architect backend systems for reliability and scalability as transaction volume grows
• Oversee API design and third-party integrations (logistics, telematics, payments)
• Hire and build an engineering team as the company grows
• Partner with the CEO on fundraising, due diligence, and investor conversations

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Haves

• 3+ years in an engineering leadership or senior tech lead role, ideally at a fast-moving startup or scale-up
• Strong background in data architecture and engineering: pipelines, warehousing, real-time streaming
• Hands-on experience with ML/AI systems in production — not just prototypes
• Solid full-stack fundamentals, comfortable going deep on backend and across the stack when needed
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Based in Germany

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with logistics, marketplace, or two-sided platform products
• Cloud-native architecture experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Additional European languages (German especially welcome)
