Senior D365FO WMS / SCM Consultant (Freelance, Nearshore)

Our client, an international manufacturing company, is entering the execution phase of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 rollout.

We are seeking a Senior D365FO WMS / SCM Consultant to lead the Warehouse Management (WMS) rollout and stabilization. The project enters its main rollout phase in 2026, with a Go-Live planned for July 2026.

Location: Hybrid (Remote + Travel to Germany)

Start: January 2026

Contract: Freelance

Duration: 3–6 months (extension possible)

Languages: English (very good), French a plus, German nice to have

TASKS

• Lead the D365FO Warehouse Management (WMS) implementation end-to-end
• Configure inbound, outbound, picking, packing, replenishment, and inventory processes
• Set up warehouse structures, locations, work templates, and mobile device processes
• Ensure correct integration between WMS and Finance
• Support testing activities (SIT, UAT) and issue resolution
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for key users
• Support cutover, Go-Live, and hypercare
• Document warehouse processes and ensure knowledge transfer

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365FO Supply Chain Management
• Deep expertise in Warehouse Management (WMS / EWM-like processes)
• Proven experience in D365FO WMS rollout projects
• Strong understanding of logistics processes in manufacturing or distribution
• Experience working in German-speaking customer environments
• Very good English; French is a plus
