Senior Software Engineer

WeDaVinci's AI-powered platform enables media companies to generate fast, verifiable, and style-adaptive content. We allow media teams to produce news articles, podcast scripts, and soon, video trailers—all within a collaborative environment where human creators remain in control. We're looking for an experienced fullstack developer to take a leading role in developing and scaling our collaborative platform.

TASKS

Software Engineering:

• Further develop and optimize a scalable collaborative platform that allows for AI-driven content generation (articles, podcast scripts, and video trailers)
• Integrate APIs and optimize UI and UX to support text, audio, and video generation workflows
• Develop a robust frontend and backend architecture for a multi-user platform
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for AI-generated content and user interactions

Scalability & Performance:

• Ensure scalability and performance to support a growing user base and AI-driven workloads
• Optimize backend services for speed, reliability, and cost efficiency

REQUIREMENTS

Technical Expertise:

• Frontend: Expertise in React and modern UI/UX best practices
• Backend: Strong experience with FastAPI
• Databases: Proficiency in relational databases
• APIs & Cloud: Experience designing and scaling RESTful APIs on cloud platforms (AWS)
• DevOps & Scalability: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, ideally also Terraform

• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges and optimize performance
• Startup Mentality: Adaptability to a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities

Bonus Skills:

• Prior work in media-tech, content production, or AI-assisted writing platforms
• Understanding and experience with generative AI (LLMs, text-to-video, text-to-speech)
