POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Consultant Physician (m/w/d) specializing in Internal Medicine with a focus on Gastroenterology to join a reputable hospital in Stuttgart. This role involves comprehensive care of both inpatient and outpatient cases related to general internal medicine and gastroenterology. The position is a permanent employment opportunity with direct contractual engagement between the candidate and the healthcare institution. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and treat patients presenting with a wide range of internal medicine and gastroenterological conditions in both ambulatory and hospital settings.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy, alongside sonographic examinations.
• Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services within a geriatric context, contributing to multidisciplinary patient care.
• Lead and participate in initiatives aimed at advancing the department’s clinical and operational capabilities.
• Engage in on-call duties as part of the internal medicine department’s emergency response team.

• Board-certified specialist in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Gastroenterology.
