SENIOR CONSULTANT IN NEURORADIOLOGY (M/W/D) - HERFORD
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Join a well-established hospital known for its outstanding reputation as a Senior Consultant in Neuroradiology (m/w/d). In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering expert patient care aligned with the hospital’s comprehensive treatment protocols. You will actively contribute to the strategic development and continuous improvement of the neuroradiology department. Additionally, you will play a key role in academic teaching and the professional development of junior medical staff, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Full authorization for radiology specialization training, with opportunities to further deepen expertise through recognized curricula such as DEGIR, DGNR, DGMRS, and DEGUM.

- State-of-the-art imaging technology, including a 256-slice CT scanner, PET-CT, dual-plane FD angiography with rotational angiography and Dyna-CT, fluoroscopy with DSA function, mammography with tomosynthesis, vacuum biopsy, ultrasound, and two new Bucky workstations. Planned upgrades include replacement of two MRI scanners (3.0 T and 1.5 T) and acquisition of an IQon Spectral CT.
- A broad clinical spectrum covering full diagnostic and interventional services, such as cardiovascular imaging, neuroradiology, mammary diagnostics, vascular interventions on extremities and trunk vessels (arterial, venous, portal), thrombectomy and lysis therapy as part of the regional stroke center, large vessel interventions (T/EVAR, cava stents), as well as pain and tumor therapies.

YOUR PROFILE
- Board-certified specialist in Neuroradiology (m/w/d).
- Interest in further specialization and advanced training is welcomed but not mandatory; existing subspecialties can be integrated.

- A friendly and empathetic manner with patients, relatives, and outpatient colleagues is essential.
