We are seeking a dedicated Chief Physician to lead the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at a well-established clinic starting from April 1, 2023. This is a permanent, full-time position with direct employment by the hospital. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall clinical and administrative leadership of the Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine Department.
• Strategic development and continuous improvement of clinical services and patient care pathways.
• Budgetary and personnel management including responsibility for staffing, recruitment, and training.
• Ensuring compliance with medical standards, quality assurance, and safety regulations.
• Active participation in hospital leadership meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Supervision and mentorship of assistant physicians and medical students from the Medical University of Brandenburg.
• Representation of the department in scientific and professional forums.
• On-call duties as part of the hospital’s rota system.

YOUR PROFILE

• Board certification (Facharzt) in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine or equivalent qualification.
• Proven leadership and management experience in a clinical setting.
• Authorization to provide medical training in accordance with the Ärztekammer guidelines.
• Strong interdisciplinary and economic understanding relevant to hospital operations.
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching, research, and quality improvement.
• Mandatory proof of immunization against SARS-CoV-2 and measles as required by German law.
• Proficiency in German sufficient for professional communication.
