YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver expert gastroenterological and internal medicine care to patients with a focus on quality and safety
• Perform and oversee advanced endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, endosonography, and enteroscopy
• Lead and mentor assistant physicians and multidisciplinary team members, fostering professional growth and excellence
• Organize and manage the endoscopy unit, ensuring compliance with quality standards and efficient workflows
• Participate in on-call rotations covering endoscopy and general internal medicine services
• Represent the department head in clinical and administrative matters and contribute to interdisciplinary hospital initiatives
• Drive strategic development of the department including budget oversight and personnel planning
• Support academic activities such as teaching, supervision of trainees, and involvement in clinical research

YOUR PROFILE

• Board-certified specialist in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Gastroenterology
• Extensive experience in operative endoscopy and broad internal medicine expertise
• Valid German medical license (Approbation) and excellent German language skills (minimum C1 level)
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in managing teams and organizational processes
• High social competence, empathy, and excellent communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues
• Strong commitment to teamwork and autonomous, responsible clinical practice
