An esteemed healthcare facility located in the Greater Cottbus area is currently seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist (m/w/d) to join their community-oriented mental health team. This role involves a direct employment contract with the institution. CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• Completed medical degree with valid German medical license (Approbation)
• Possession of a professional practice permit and legally clarified residency status
• Proficient German language skills, evidenced by passing the specialist language examination
• Board certification as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (m/w/d)
• Experience in managing psychiatric disorders with a focus on integrating social context
• Strong dedication, reliability, and proactive engagement
• Valid driving license class B

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary mobile team providing patient-centered care
• Perform crisis interventions and emergency psychiatric support
• Participate in the conceptual development and continuous improvement of community-based psychiatric services
• Conduct regular psychiatric home visits to ensure individualized outpatient care
• Plan, execute, and monitor diagnostic and therapeutic measures in ambulatory and partial inpatient settings
• Provide comprehensive counseling, education, and support to patients and their families, coordinating with social services and complementary institutions
