A highly regarded healthcare facility in the Stuttgart area is seeking to fill the position of Senior Medical Specialist (m/w/d) in Anesthesia and Critical Care immediately. This is a permanent employment opportunity with a direct contractual relationship between you and the employer. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administering total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA) with a focus on patient safety and efficacy
• Performing advanced real-time 3D echocardiography, including both online and offline assessment using specialized software tools
• Managing fast-track anesthesia protocols and overseeing patient recovery in the post-anesthesia care unit
• Leading preoperative assessment clinics to optimize patient preparation and risk evaluation
• Providing comprehensive pain management strategies, including the use of patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) pumps

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

• Board-certified specialist in anesthesia with extensive experience in operative intensive care medicine
• At least two years of dedicated experience in cardiac anesthesia, with certification or recognized qualifications in echocardiography (TEE or TTE), such as DGAI or EACVI
• Proactive and collaborative approach to introducing innovative treatment methods and advancing clinical practices
• Commitment to quality, teamwork, and economic responsibility in clinical decision-making
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty as required
• Compliance with statutory immunization requirements, including proof of measles vaccination
