SENIOR LEAD PHYSICIAN (M/W/D) PATHOLOGY IN DUISBURG

ABOUT THE EMPLOYER

A well-established hospital northeast of Duisburg with an excellent reputation is seeking a Senior Lead Physician (m/w/d) specializing in Pathology. This role is offered through a direct employment contract with the hospital. Our recruitment service is free and provides full support throughout the hiring process until contract signing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead comprehensive histological and cytological diagnostics with clinical precision.
• Perform macroscopic specimen dissection as required.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary tumor boards, including certified centers for breast, colorectal, pancreatic, prostate, lung, and gynecological cancers.
• Supervise and mentor assistant physicians with full authorization for specialist training.
• Contribute to quality management system development and implementation.
• Collaborate closely with clinical departments to ensure optimal diagnostic support.
• Manage and coordinate a multidisciplinary pathology team comprising physicians, specialized technical staff, and administrative employees.

• Valid medical license (Approbation) in Germany.
• Board certification in pathology.
