We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Consultant in Anesthesia and Critical Care to join a well-established hospital with an excellent reputation in the Greater Thuringia region. YOUR PROFILE

• Possession of a valid German medical license (Approbation).
• Board certification in Anesthesiology with several years of clinical experience at a senior level.
• Additional qualification in Emergency Medicine is highly desirable.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising medical teams and coordinating departmental activities.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Familiarity with German healthcare regulations, documentation standards, and clinical IT systems.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and teaching.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage clinical operations within the departments of Anesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine.
• Provide expert anesthesia care across various surgical specialties, including regional and general anesthesia techniques.
• Oversee the training and mentoring of junior doctors and medical staff, fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Participate actively in departmental development, quality assurance, and implementation of evidence-based practices.
• Assume on-call duties as part of the senior medical rota, ensuring high standards of patient care.
• Collaborate closely with other medical disciplines and hospital administration to optimize patient outcomes and resource management.
• Contribute to clinical research and academic activities as part of the hospital’s teaching mission.
