A well-established hospital in the Thuringia area is seeking a dedicated Senior Physician at the Oberarzt level specializing in gastroenterology. This role offers a direct employment contract with the hospital. YOUR PROFILE

• You hold a valid medical license recognized in Germany.
• You are a board-certified specialist in Internal Medicine with additional qualification in Gastroenterology.
• You possess extensive experience in emergency endoscopic care as well as diagnostic and interventional endoscopy, particularly gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
• Familiarity with ERCP and endosonography is highly desirable.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills combined with empathy towards patients.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and medical education.
• Strong dedication to patient-centered care and maintaining high-quality treatment standards.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in line with current medical standards.
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment and therapy plans.
• Performing and supervising interventional endoscopic procedures.
• Conducting sonographically guided interventions.
• Providing training, supervision, and mentorship to junior physicians and medical staff.
• Actively participating in the ongoing education and professional growth of the medical team.
• Maintaining clear and compassionate communication with patients and their families.
