Experienced Consultant in Internal Medicine for Rehabilitation (m/w/d)

EXPERIENCED CONSULTANT IN INTERNAL MEDICINE FOR REHABILITATION (M/W/D) IN A LEADING REHABILITATION FACILITY

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take medical responsibility within the internal medicine specialty, following clinical protocols and directives from supervising physicians.
• Collaborate with senior medical staff to ensure coordinated and effective patient care throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations including admission, ongoing monitoring, and discharge examinations, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Develop tailored treatment plans in alignment with clinical guidelines and team input.
• Order and assess diagnostic procedures such as laboratory tests, imaging (X-ray, sonography), ECGs, and psychological assessments when indicated.
• Analyze diagnostic outcomes to inform and adjust therapeutic strategies.
• Monitor the effectiveness of treatments and modify them as necessary based on patient progress and diagnostic feedback.
• Lead and participate in ward rounds, preparing for and contributing to senior physician consultations.
• Prepare detailed medical reports compliant with statutory requirements and insurer guidelines within designated timeframes.
• Maintain effective communication with therapy departments to integrate multidisciplinary treatment outcomes.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Board certification in Internal Medicine.
