SENIOR PHYSICIAN AND DEPUTY DEPARTMENT HEAD FOR PSYCHOSOMATIC REHABILITATION (M/W/D)

YOUR NEW ROLE

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Physician and Deputy Department Head (m/w/d) for the psychosomatic rehabilitation department at a well-respected rehabilitation clinic. This full-time or part-time position offers you the opportunity to take on significant clinical and leadership responsibilities, including deputizing for the department head and contributing to the strategic development of the department. You will enter into a direct employment contract with the clinic, supported throughout the hiring process by our advisory service free of charge.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading the medical diagnostics and treatment of patients with psychosomatic disorders, including psychotherapeutic group and individual care.
• Acting as deputy to the department head, including representing them in management meetings and clinical governance matters.
• Participating in the on-call service rotation.
• Collaborating closely with the rheumatology and gynecology departments to ensure integrated patient care.
• Driving the further development and implementation of the clinic’s treatment concepts in partnership with the chief physician.
• Supervising, mentoring, and providing professional development opportunities for assistant physicians and psychologists.
• Leading a competence team to foster clinical excellence and quality improvement.
• Contributing to administrative tasks such as quality management, budget oversight, and service development.

YOUR PROFILE

• Board certification in Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy or Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (m/w/d).
• Preferably, experience in psychosomatic rehabilitation settings.
• Commitment to integrating your therapeutic expertise into a multidisciplinary treatment program.
• Interest in psychosomatic, psychiatric, and social medicine issues.
• High level of professional and interpersonal skills.
• Enjoyment in working with patients and interdisciplinary teams.
• Responsible, independent, and reliable work approach.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
