C&A is seeking an experienced, data driven, and highly customer focused Project Manager to join the PMO team for our Fit for Future (F4F) Program. The mission of the F4F program is to modernize C&A’s processes and technology to enable truly European omni-channel ways of working. Our vision is that C&A will have a more efficient, resilient, and data-driven omni-channel business that allows C&A to scale and offer great availability of products and value for money for customers. The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall delivery and alignment of dedicated projects within the transformation. The role will work cross-functionally to ensure that the program stays on track and is executed efficiently. The PMO team will play a key role in the largest digital transformation in the history of C&A!
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop project plans, key milestones, timelines, and resource allocation and deliverables. Coordinate the implementation of the project from start to finish. Coordinate day-to-day management of all activities including schedules and proactively monitoring its progress.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with all relevant teams to ensure smooth execution of projects. Manage communications between all project stakeholders. Communicate openly to ensure that relevant information is shared. Collaborate with the Transformation Office and other workstreams in F4F program.
- Follow project governance to ensure consistency across the program. Set up and coordinate the procurement process, contracting and Business Case creation. Track progress and manage budgets to ensure the program stays on time and within budget.
- Identify and mitigate project risks including delays and scope creep. Manage dependencies between the projects, evaluate and overcome initiative risks. Identify opportunities to improve execution, increase productivity through tools and process improvements.
- Ensure effective quality assurance, overall integrity of initiatives, and compliance with company standards and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain high-level reporting throughout the program. Conduct post-mortem analyses after major project phases or failures to gather insights.
- Handling complex transformation projects
WHAT YOU BRING
- Must-have: Minimum 10 years of relevant Project Management experience leading multi-year transformation programs, with solid knowledge of fashion retail business processes and a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams (e.g., merchandising, planning, logistics, store operations, technology).
- Must-have: Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale digital transformation initiatives in Fashion Logistics, such as integrating SAP with 3PL partners, implementing Transport Management Systems (TMS), deploying end-to-end supply and logistics planning solutions, and overseeing seamless integration across a complex technology landscape.
- Must-have: Consultative, results-driven professional with expertise in fashion retail and logistics, skilled at guiding stakeholders, aligning workstreams, and driving clarity and resilience in complex, fast-paced projects.
- Strong understanding of the SAP ecosystem (S/4HANA experience preferred).
- Proven ability to prepare high-quality materials for SteerCo, Program Boards, and other governance forums.
- Strong command of project management methodologies and tools, with experience supporting PMO processes to improve ways of working
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead, influence, and motivate diverse teams.
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to balance risk-taking, issue resolution, and timely escalation.
