Product Engineer

Growing cost pressure in the German healthcare system is creating major challenges for hospitals. They have to meet increasingly complex requirements to ensure they are fully and correctly reimbursed for the care they provide. At the same time, more than 80% of German hospitals are already operating at a loss.

With our AI solution, we are already helping numerous public, private, and church-run hospitals across Germany automate and optimize the entire process from treatment to payment. Our solution ranges from automatically identifying the correct reimbursement codes based on the patient record to improving documentation quality and managing lengths of stay. This allows us to support hospitals across the full range of medical controlling activities.

Due to rapidly growing demand, we are now looking for talented people to join our small, ambitious team.

AUFGABEN

• quickly turn new requirements from customer conversations into prototypes and production-ready solutions
• improve, stabilize, and expand our existing AI pipeline
• help build and deliver technical demos, pilots, integrations, and rollouts
• build internal tools and workflows that make product, GTM, and operations faster and more efficient
• continuously improve quality, reliability, security, and scalability

QUALIFIKATION

Dein Profil

• strong builder with solid software engineering fundamentals
• full-stack skill set, with strong proficiency in Python, APIs, backend development, data pipelines, and frontend development
• experience with AI workflows and LLMs
• strong interest in healthcare. A specialization in medical informatics or a similar field is a plus
• good product instincts and an appetite for solving ambiguous, real-world problems rather than working through narrowly defined tickets
• strong communicator who enjoys working closely with customers and being involved in pilots and rollouts
