Senior Procurement Manager (m/f/d)

As a Senior Procurement Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for developing and driving MIRAI Power's procurement strategy across critical project categories. Acting as a trusted business partner, you will secure equipment and services at the optimal balance of cost, quality and reliability, while building strong supplier partnerships and helping scale the procurement function to support the company's continued growth.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE ENERGY TRANSITION

• Develop and drive procurement strategies for BESS, HV substations, power conversion systems and cable packages in close collaboration with Engineering and Grid teams.
• Lead negotiations for high-value and strategic contracts, managing commercial terms, service levels and risk allocation.
• Manage and develop key supplier relationships, monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.
• Partner with Development, Finance, Operations and Legal teams to align procurement activities with business needs, project requirements and budgets.
• Build and grow MIRAI's procurement capabilities while ensuring compliance with internal policies, applicable regulations and sustainability commitments.

YOUR PROFILE

• 3+ years of experience in strategic procurement or category management, ideally within renewable energy, BESS, electrical power equipment or infrastructure projects.
• Solid procurement experience with a strong understanding of sourcing, supplier management and contract negotiations.
• Proficiency with procurement and ERP systems as well as MS Excel.
• A pragmatic, hands-on mindset with the willingness to take ownership and help build the procurement function in a fast-growing company.
• Professional procurement certifications (e.g. CIPS/MCIPS) and experience with sustainable sourcing or ESG-related initiatives are a plus.
• Business-fluent English and German.
