Senior Legal Counsel (m/f/d)

As a Senior Legal Counsel (m/f/d), you will provide legal advice and support across a broad range of business activities, helping to protect MIRAI Power's legal and commercial interests while supporting the company's continued growth. You will work closely with management and business teams on commercial agreements, corporate governance matters, strategic transactions and legal risk management across multiple jurisdictions.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE ENERGY TRANSITION

• Provide practical, commercially focused legal support to management and business teams across all areas of the business.
• Support renewable energy projects throughout their lifecycle, from site origination and development through construction, operation and asset transactions.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage commercial, project, financing and corporate agreements, while supporting strategic transactions including joint ventures, acquisitions, financings and corporate restructurings.
• Advise on corporate governance, shareholder matters, compliance, regulatory requirements and legal risk management.
• Build and continuously improve MIRAI's legal framework, including contract templates, policies, governance processes and compliance initiatives, while managing external legal advisors and coordinating legal support across multiple jurisdictions

YOUR PROFILE

• Fully qualified lawyer with 5+ years of professional experience in a law firm, utility, renewable energy developer, infrastructure company or comparable in-house legal environment.
• Strong experience in commercial contracts, corporate law and legal support for business operations.
• Solid understanding of renewable energy project development and infrastructure businesses.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide pragmatic and business-oriented legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in German and English.
