About Startupistan Impact Ventures

Startupistan Impact Ventures gUG is a Berlin-based nonprofit organization focused on education, inclusion, digital skills, and workforce integration. We support people from diverse international backgrounds through language learning, upskilling, and career development programs.

We are currently looking for passionate and experienced German Language Trainers to teach German from A1 to C1 level based on the CEFR framework.

TASKS

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging German language classes (A1–C1)
• Teach according to CEFR standards
• Prepare students for real-life communication and language exams
• Adapt lessons to different learning styles and cultural backgrounds
• Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Conduct classes online and/or on-site in Berlin
• Create a positive and motivating learning environment

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements

• Experience teaching German as a foreign language (DaF/DaZ)
• Strong understanding of CEFR-based teaching methodologies
• Ability to teach across multiple levels from A1 to C1
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Comfortable using online teaching tools and digital platforms
• Native or near-native German proficiency

Nice to Have

• TELC examiner certification or TELC preparation experience
• BAMF approval
• Experience teaching healthcare or professional German
• Experience with online/hybrid learning formats
