Solution Architect Japan (f/m/d)

POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a technically strong Solution Architect to drive pre-sales activities and business development with automotive clients in Japan. You will own the full technical customer relationship - from first engagement through integration - and work independently to build partnerships and win business in the region.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Guide existing and prospective customers through Cinemo's products and technical capabilities, from pre-sales through integration
• Translate customer use cases into product features and represent technical needs internally
• Support customers in integrating Cinemo solutions into their products, including complex change requests on ongoing projects
• Build proofs of concept, prepare technical documentation, and deliver product demos to customers and partners
• Contribute to RFI/RFQ responses and help shape statements of work
• Establish and develop country-specific partnerships: SoC manufacturers, ecosystem providers, multimedia content providers
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, Customer Project Management, and Engineering Tech stack

C/C++, Java/Kotlin, automotive software architectures, embedded/connected systems. Confident use of modern AI tools is expected.

WHAT MATTERS MOST:

We are looking for someone who combines strong technical depth with customer-facing initiative - someone who can earn the trust of engineering teams at Japanese automotive clients, communicate fluently in both Japanese and English, and work independently to drive business outcomes in the region. Occasional support at APAC or global level (e.g. CES) may be part of the role.
