Founding Product Manager @ handly - 20VC backed

handly is an early stage, VC backed company building an AI first operating system for craft businesses. We recently raised €3.75m from 20VC, Stride and Base10 and are building a small, performant team with high ownership and high trust.

We are looking for a Product Manager who wants real responsibility: shaping product direction, making decisions with imperfect information, shipping themselves and working hands on with engineering to ship fast and learn faster. This is not a process heavy PM role. It is a builder role.

TASKS

• Own product direction end to end, from understanding user problems to shaping solutions and shipping them
• Translate company goals into clear product bets, priorities, and tradeoffs
• Work very closely with engineering to scope, design and ship features and iterate quickly
• Make product decisions with incomplete data and course correct when needed
• Develop a deep understanding of users, workflows, and real world constraints
• Bring clarity to the team on what we are building, why, and what done means
• Help shape how product work happens at handly as we scale

REQUIREMENTS

This role is about how you work, not just where you worked.

You should strongly identify with most of the following:

• High agency. You take ownership, push things forward, and do not wait for permission
• AI native mindset. You actively use AI tools and think in AI first product patterns
• Strong technical understanding and ability to reason about systems and constraints
• Good product taste and a clear opinion on what makes a product great
• You care about UX and details, even if you are not a trained designer
• Comfortable making decisions with imperfect or incomplete information
• Comfortable being wrong and correcting course quickly
• Experience in fast paced, early stage environments
• Side projects or things you have built on your own are a strong plus

Language requirement

• Fluent German (spoken and written). The product interface is fully in German and most of our partners communicate exclusively in German.
• Fluent English for internal communication.

We care more about how you think and act than years of PM experience.
