Product Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) Optical Payloads

Your tasks

• Preparation of project product assurance documentation tailored to project specific customer requirements
• Align test and inspection activities with engineering and production team
• Support engineering and production team in case of non-conformances and deviations, perform root cause analysis, identify and monitor corrective and preventive actions
• Support FMEA, RAMS and radiation analyses
• Quality status reporting towards the customer and internal stakeholders
• Participation in customer review meetings as product assurance representative
• Contribute pro-actively to continuous improvement of products and processes

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace engineering, physics or related fiel
• At least 3 years working experience in the space industry
• Knowledge of ECSS is a plus
• Experience with reliability, radiation, FMEA or another product assurance discipline is advantageous
• Experience with parts, materials and process control is a plus
• Hands-on hardware experience is required
• Good communication and report writing skills
• Solid English language skills written and verbal are required, German language skills are an advantage
